Codes have earned themselves a great reputation in the Irish music scene for their energetic and powerful live shows and the album 'Tree's Dream In Algebra', which was nominated for the 2010 Choice Music Prize and voted Irish album of the year by Phantom FM. Daithi O'Dronai
2010 was a busy year for Daithi and with his stunning live sets 2011 looks set to be the same. What Daithi does with a fiddle and a loop machine has got to be seen to be believed. This is something to really look forward to.

Dirty Epics are a perfect mix of Pop and Punk. With powerful guitars and drums and a front women in Sarah Jane who has energy and stage presence in abundance the Dirty Epics have no problem in getting the crowds attention.

NPLD favorites The Hot Sprockets are an awesome live rock'n'roll band and make a welcome return to the Dome again this year. With the release of their debut album 'HoneySkippin' in April these guys will be out to show just how good they are and if last year is anything to go by they are not to be missed!!

Fiach
In 2010, with the release of Fiach's critically acclaimed debut album 'So I', headlining gig's both at home and abroad and a support slot for Mr. Ray Davies I think its fair to say it was a good year for the Dublin singer/songwriter. With his compellingly honest lyrics, beautiful tunes and an abundance of energy for his live shows Fiach really is a joy to hear and see and its great to have him back down the dome for 2011.

Tupelo are a band we're excited about! With an eclectic mix of instruments and an engaging front man to back up their excellent collection of songs these guys have it all. If your a fan of 'The Band' or the likes you'll be a fan of Tupelo. I for one cant wait.

Wicker Bones
Yes yes it can be confirmed the mighty Wicker Bones (formerly Holy Bleedin Jaysus) are to close the show for NPLD 2011. They did such a magnificent job last year we knew straight away that this is where we wanted them to play this time round. With a mix of traditional and original Irish folk songs the lads deliver them with such force that there is no question this group have something special.

The Barley Mob
The Barley Mob blew the NPLD audience away last year with their set around the camp fire and we've no doubt they'll do the same again this time round. They sing reggae tunes around the social and political issues of our times in an honest and believable fashion. Front man Adam Daly has no shortage of the charisma and stage presence required to front this tight group and the uplifting vibe that surrounds these lads is sure to get the crowd going.

Sligo Hip-Hopers This Side Up were so good at NPLD 2010 we asked them to come down and play our Domestore night back in February. THEY ABSOLUTELY TOOK THE ROOF OFF THE PLACE!! For any of you out there who think there might be something suspect about a hip-hop band from Sligo come along and check these guys out, guaranteed your in for a surprise.. These guys are unreal..

Blind Yackety bring to the stage all the energy you'd expect from a nine piece band and then some. Here's a band that's a real mixed bag, but its a bag mixed just perfect. Soulful, Edgey, Funky and Cool.. NPLD 2011 is in for a real treat.

After a stunning set at KnockanStockan last year The Rye were always a band mentioned when discussing the line-up for NPLD 2011. These guys are infectious and with their blend of country/folk/rock their energy is boundless and the crowd loves them. A definite highlight for this years festival.

Last year a very hung over John Byrne had the Sunday afternoon audience eating out of his hand as he switched effortlessly from singing his beautifully crafted ballads to splitting our sides with his tales of relationships, sibling rivalries and hedonistic partying. Here's a man at ease on stage who forges a relationship with his audience leaving them dying for more.

Bob Glynn captures his audience from the opening. Taking to the stage with his guitar and kick drum his style and songs would remind you somewhat of a young Xavier Rudd. Bob played our DomeStore night for us back in February and went down a storm. He is not to be missed.

For the third year running Hitman Lord makes a return to NPLD so he must be doing something right! His recordings are a fusion between Pop/Rock/Soul and Electronica and his shows have never failed to get the crowd going at NPLD. Gone national this year The King Kong Club is a battle of the bands competition giving up and coming artists the perfect platform to show what they've got.This year two of the finalists will win slots to play at NPLD. Lucky Bones
Front man Eamon O'Connor has been working the Irish music scene for some time now and after recording his latest collection of songs for what became the album 'Together We Are All Alone' decided a band was needed to bring it all to life. And so Lucky Bones was born. The first single 'Longshot' is a perfect mix of pop and rock and their catchy tunes and easy listening is ideal for a festival crowd.

His unique spirit and presence on stage fused with the musical traditions he’s merged with contemporary songwriting bring forth the distinct and wonderful sound that give Saint John the Gambler his edge.

Jukebox Gypsy
Formed in 2007, Jukebox Gypsy started as a three-piece from Liverpool. Having toured extensively through Britain and Ireland, they now consist of five members and have released a critically acclaimed debut album with Irish distribution and management. The Gypsy's have become a household names on the Irish folk scene. Jukebox Gypsy are known for their eclectic song writing and high-energy shows.

Veroa
Veroa are a three piece alternative band based in Dublin. They formed in Ballyfermott college in 2007. Veroa have been gigging for the the last three years under the name Clodagh Kerley who is the main song writer of the band. She is backed by Ror and Shane on drums and bass. Veroa's sound is emotive and dynamic . They play with raw sincerity moving from beautiful delicate melodies to powerful grooves. Veroa are currently working on their debut EP which is due for release before the end of this year.
